I would highly recommend working with Richard Saah at BMW of Annapolis. I purchased a 328 and X5 from Tate BMW and would say our experience with the new BMW of Annapolis staff was much more enjoyable. Richard actually found two vehicles for my wife and I. My wife purchased a 2009 X5 4.8 and I purchased a 2010 335XI M Sport Package Sedan. Both my wife and I were very specific in how our vehicles were configured. I am never a true fan of the car dealer approach to sales. I never enjoy the back-and-forth... salesman to manager... interaction. I would much rather just have the no haggle approach to buying cars. Until that time exists, I will never give a 'highest' rating. The dealership was clean. The people were friendly. We were both treated with high respect.
We are a 3 BMW car family. Our repeated experiences at Annapolis BMW has been consistently bad to poor. We have moved our business to an independent garage and Russel BMW. What amazes me more is that there is no change from Tate to Annapolis BMW ownership, the location must be jinxed. From poor committment follow up on a purchase of a certified used car, to no loaners when I arrived, to long, long lead times for a service slot and loaner, to denting my car bringing it up to me after service while I sat there, to repeated mee... read more
Very bad experience, bought a 705I and when taking delivery we were told that the car needed to come back because they just noticed a computer problem when filling the car with gas. Took the car back and problem was worse, car alarm sounds all night and all day, engine is running rough and sounds like a tank. Comfort access doesn't work nor does air conditioning. I take the car back and they say it is a bad key, leave the car for a few days and they say they cant find the problem, then they blame the technician telling me he... read more
When I first walked into the dealer everyone was so friendly and they all wanted to help out with any questions I had. I had my eye on the X6 and Seth Glicksman looked it up for me and there was the perfect car I was looking for the alpine white with black interior. Seth is an EXCELLENT sales man. I wouldn't recommend this dealership for service. When I came in to purchase this vehicle the salemen were very helpful and knowledgeable. However, after almost 3 months I had to take my car in for service. I took my car in on 2/23. The guy (I belive Peter) was very nice enough to squeeze me in. I waited about 2 hours for the service technican to tell me I needed work done. Jane was to submit the request on Monday, 2/23 for the part & told me it will take two days to arrive. It's a shame that Mr. Tate had to sell out to such an awful corportation. If you are new to the BMW purchasing experience, please do your research prior to making a stop here. They will act as if they are doing the best possible job for you but all you really get is the run around. They found me a car at an auction and assured me that I did not have to purchase it if I didn't like it.
