In early October 2014, I received a BMW notification (recall) on the airbag for our 2005 BMW 325i. I thought it was going to be a pleasurable experience after get my car serviced. Early in this shopping experience I twice attempted to call the dealership for info. This was 2x on two separate days during normal daytime hours. Nobody answered the main phone line. Well call me determined ( and the fact I live within walking distance) I drove down to the dealership. I was met by a salesman that will remain unnamed. He was very helpful in answering questions. In the past month and a half I have taken both our BMW's, a 2005 & a 2013, to the Annapolis BMW dealership for service. Both of the experiences were poor. When I purchased the 2013 BMW I was told by the new Sales Manager, that the service department issues were being resolved, as I had communicated the customer reviews for Annapolis BMW were not complimentary at all. Dealer serviced my oil change, 2 wks later, car smoking and certified bmw local mechanic who didn't know who serviced my car last showed me that I had 16 quarts of oil in my car because whoever serviced it last didn't change the oil, they just added more. Oil overage blew gaskets and more, had to pay over 900 to fix. Told the dealer they should know and dealer told me it was the auto shop agains mine and good luck proving it. The BMW deal we were in was not a good one from another BMW dealer . Annapolis BMW got us out of the bad deal and put us a a brand new BMW very close to the price we were paying in the bad deal. Will buy at this dealer again!
We were extremely disappointed with the customer service at this dealership.At 2:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon there were at least 5 sales employees and a receptionist but we were NEVER acknowledged. As potential purchasers of a 5 series, we could not be more deterred from giving any business to this location. I hope Management will take this as an opportunity to reinforce the importance of customer service with the staff. A simple "Hello" , a smile, or a head nod would have sufficed. I was coming off lease with an extremely low mileage, clean car, and I had a rebate from USAA for lease or purchase of a new car,, but the salesperson failed to tell me about the 1250 special incentive for returning leases or the first month refund that BMW is offering. He was in a big hurry to get me to commit to leasing a new car, which I did. I went back the next day and the salesperson said he had NO idea what the BMW promotion was. I called to schedule service for my 335 and asked I could have a BMW loaner. They said I needed to schedule an apt a week later in order to get a BMW loaner. The day of my apt, I arrived 10 minutes early. The vallet took my key, parked my car and have the key back to me. No one said anything to us ( my wife and seven week old were with me) so we found the closest seat. After 15 minutes of waiting, I asked if they were going to call me up for my apt.
