Tim was great to work with. He REALLY knows the Mini. We decided to order from the factory and Tim explained every option, showed us on stock cars what was available and how things worked, and then kept us informed on the progress of our Mini while we were waiting for delivery. My husband and I recently decided to get serious about purchasing a Mini and went to our local dealership in Portland, OR. There we were told that we would have to choose from one of the cars on the lot unless we wanted to wait 3+ months to get one ordered. Last fall this same dealership tried very hard to try to locate us just the right Mini by consulting their computerized inventory of the West Coast. I was traveling from Colorado and had a problem with the clutch on my 2002 MCS. Brad and Graham were able to get my car into service right away so that I could continue my trip back to Colorado with minimal delay. In addition, they took time to point out a where I could save future money by having certain work done in addition to the clutch because a significant amount of the labor was already incurred in getting to the clutch. We bought our Mini from Terry Soumis and he made the process fast and easy without all the hassle you normally get from most car dealers. This was the easiest vehicle purchase we have ever made. Rocky Matranga is a nice person. He is very knowledgable and helpful. Overall I am not sure about Northwest Mini anylonger since the very rude treatment I have received after deciding to move my loan from Mini financial services.
I dropped my MINI by Northwest MINI for a wash while I was in the area. I couldn't believe how nice the car looked when I picked it up. It was cleaner than the last time I had it detailed by my detailer. There had been some specks on the inside driver side of the dash that had remained there after the last 5 washes. Not any longer! I purchased a 2012 Mini Countryman from Northwest Mini. Tim, one of the salesman first showed me the different models and than offered me a test drive. Being a previous Mini Cooper Hatchback owner, he described the differences and definitely gave me a lot of information.
