Get directionsI would want others to know that we had major issues here. The day of the move I checked her out of rehab, I could not leave because the facility did not have doctors orders. They had a week to get these and we had to wait around for 5 hours. Once we got her to the facility, the rehab place did not release medications, I had filled paperwork out for all of that weeks before. So she had no medications when we got there. She could not get a mailbox key for 2 weeks so she had no access to her mail. My mom was told by one of the... read more
My mom moved and didn't get the therapy services she needed for a week. They came out and did their assessment, accepted her, and then didn't have any of the paperwork ready and we waited five hours with in my sitting in wheelchair. Finally, we got her in and it took an hour to get a caregiver to come help my mom. A few days later, my sister was there and a comment was made by a caregiver that if she couldn't sit up on her own, she shouldn't be there at all. There were a few nice caregivers, however, I would never recommend ... read more
At first (March 2019) I would have given 5 stars. Today I am really irritated with this place The food is really good here but the care staff has not a clue what the left or right hand are doing!
This is the worse senior center I have ever seen!! Danagerest practices. They leave their residents at stores, doctors etc alone for hours and hours, some residents not able to be alone like this, panicking. When r they going to be picked up? Where do they wait to be picked up? What door did I come in? How do I pay for my items? These r some of the panicking questions they ask The activity director and/or assistant's job is to go with them to stores, events etc. If they could be alone in a big store, etc they wouldn't be in ... read more
I am not happy with the care that my mom had received. at this community. The community did not give my mom good care and she was taken out of the community. I would not recommend the care here at this community to anyone for care.
Mirabella is an old building that has been updated maybe a few years ago. My father lived there for just a few weeks before we decided to move him out. The community staff and management were kind and caring, but they seem to have little power to change any of the major concerns we had once we moved in, like TV, AC, and billing issues. When I contacted the corporate office, as the Director suggested, we got the run-around. We lost our $2000 community fee and regret allowing ourselves to be pressured by the gentleman who gave... read more

My daughter walked in to tour and they were greeted by a gentleman, stated that this what I need and spend, he stated he didn't want to waste our time to tour the facility and there was residents asking for help and no one coming, food all over residents couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Checked out this facility for my mom. High discrepiency between the seen and unseen...lobby. 5 star...rooms 1 star. Where is the balance? The funds for upgrades should have been distributed equally. The two rooms I viewed were in poor state... You go from top of the line in the seen areas, to bottom of the line in the living quarters I expected better! If it is all for "show", then what are the residents services like..I now question it all.
This facility has decided to change its rules so that it can take away the only family that one of its disabled residents has, pair of therapy cats. Instead of finding a roommate who likes cats, it is deciding that only those residents who can afford a single room can have pets (that means no Medicaid residents). They have no heart.
