A little clumsy interaction on website
The driver was Chinese and did not speak any English. I had questions he couldn't answer.
Everything was good, but the rear valance of the vehicle was damaged during transport. Probably during loading onto the trailer.
Shipping company used unsafe practices to transport my truck. They used a faulty strap to secure the truck to the trailer - I pointed this out and was assured it would be fixed at the next truck stop in route to the final destination. When the truck arrived the strap was broken and wrapped around the rear axle of the truck. Not only was this unsafe for my personal vehicle, it was also unsafe for everyone on the road that this driver drove beside.
The booking is slightly confusing because I want to pay cash price but it asks for a credit card. That is bit confusing.
I have cancelled the car transport
It's been more than a month snd a half since I ordered the shipment and I still don't know if the motorcycle was even picked up. I purchased the bike at a motorcycle shop and have been trying to ship it from there. I only get a shipping status when I call Montway which is a chore in itself as calls are dropped several times before they actually go through. Montway's agents keep telling me different stories on why my motorcycle isn't shipping: trucker shortage, carrier mix up, pickup contact unavailable or reporting the bike ... read more
