The lady we initially we were working with was outstanding and very attentive. Anytime we had questions or concerns she was very helpful which we thought was a great indicator, and we would highly recommend this community to other families.
Really beautiful and caring place! Highly recommend !!
I was able to do a virtual tour with this community and it was very nice., they took us throughout the entire facility. We decided to go with another community because that community had a credit dementia practitioner and we thought they would be better for our loved one.
The staff are friendly and the residents seem happy to live here. I was impressed with the rooms. The food looks good and nutrional. It's pet friendly. There are outdoor areas and activities for memory care. It is more $$ than the other places I have visited. On the down side, it is 30 minutes from our house.
Well done. Guide walked through the entire memory care area using his cell phone. Shared some of the programs they have to engage the residents. When he unlocked the door to the court yard I asked why the doors were locked. He indicated that it was too cold for the residents to be out but when the weather was warmer, the door was not locked. Empathy for residents came out in how he answered my question. He then walked the court yard and shared about the residents grow their own vegetables and tend to the court yard plants. t... read more
Overall, since we have been there they raised the prices over $300 a month due to the virus. We have had some payment issues with them and I have not been able to get a hold of anyone on the phone so they have not been good with communication. They never return my phone calls or voicemails. They did just get bought out so I think that is where a lot of the issues have been. Other than these billing issues, everything has been pretty good with the facility.
The community is safe and the staff is nice. It wasn't the best of the best but I felt comfortable leaving my loved one there. I would recommend this community to others.
Depending on the level of care that your loved one needs it is definitely a great place to be. As my loved ones declined in health, the community wasn't as proactive at discussing with us about any of the updates. If you don't need as much cares, this is a great place and they communicate well with you.
[name removed] was very personable and seemed to understand and sympathic to my situation. Provided good information.
