The tour experience went very well for us, and we returned several times to try meals and visit with the residents. The guide showed us through out the place and they were able to answer all my questions about the community. Meals were offered to sample and I thought it was very good. This turned out to be our second choice, partly based on its size (larger than the place we picked), the availability of units, and my mom's needs. There are many independent seniors here, who participate in many activities. My mom is elderly a... read more

My uncle is doing good here at this community. Everything is working out very well. The staff is very considerate and attentive. The director is great. The community looks nice, they do a good job keeping his room and the community very well maintained. There are activities offered for the residents. The food is good, they do accommodate his diet. I know he is receiving good care and he is good hands. I would highly recommend this community.

I am really impressed with my wife's improvement. The community is very nice and seems to be busy. My wife eats well, no complaints, The winner was the activities, the staff eased her into the crowd and activities. The care is good and the atmosphere is very well but the administration needs some improvements and needs to shape up. They did not help me and lack communication techniques. Otherwise, Jo Anne from A Place For Mom did a good job and I appreciate her help.

Nothing but nice things to say about this community. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they helped me recognize mom need more care, they helped out with finances so living here was affordable for my mother. The food is amazing they have a mini cafe at the end of my mothers floor that has coffee, tea, healthy snacks, and juices. They have this mini cafe available to the residents 24/7. I recommend this community to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place for their loved one.

It is clean and cheerful. There is no doubt that the people enjoy living there and are well cared for. There is a wonderful respect for privacy and independence, while at the same time providing safety and needed care. We were pleasantly surprised to find a place where we felt so comfortable.

Atria Vista Del Rio was a good place, but basically the residents had to be self sufficient. Otherwise, it got costly to add more services. Everything was good here, but it just was not a good fit for us. The resident is no longer at this facility due to that.

The food is great and the fact that dad is in a safe environment is a five. The fact that he is eating and in a social setting is great. The one thing that we have not figured out is the medicine thing. The way they medicate is very cumbersome. They have to count every pill if he leaves the facility. The lady from A Place for Mom in Albuquerque is wonderful and she helped me tremendously and she followed up with me. Brent Carson is her name.

Atria Vista del Rio has been wonderful to work with. They are helpful, friendly and very accomodating. My father is adjusting and enjoying it more all the time.
