Best gym overall from staff to equipment! Staff is always helpful and friendly. Gym is well maintained and clean.
The best hidden gym in town. Located at chase field a smaller non pretentious gym always clean well kept never to busy. Great for us downtown folk and business people who work in the area. Clean showers and dressing rooms. Towels provided. They open at 4:30 am weekdays close 11pm weeknights. If you are one like me who wants to go in for a workout not all the bells and whistles they offer lunch time classes as well as morning classes. Well this is a great location and really pretty, but poorly thought out to be in Arizona. It is extremely hot as there are huge walls of windows and two floors. Don't come here in the summer. In the winter and when it's cooler, it's great. Every time I go to the gym I get physically sick because of the heat and for some reason they can't keep it cool. Bottom line, if you join mountainside fitness and live downtown, you will have to travel to work out when it's warm out.

I was moving away from this location. I needed to cancel my membership. I walked in to cancel during my normal gym time (early AM), but they weren't able to, someone else had to be there to do it (manager maybe, I wasn't quite sure). But okay - no big deal. I call later that week because I'm having a hard time getting in when the manager is there; hoping I can just do this over the phone. Nope - I need to come in. Again, okay not a big deal. I am absolutely in love with this gym it's in a good location and typically very quiet. The staff are all very sweet and helpful. As frequently as I've come to the gym the only issue I have is with one individual slamming the weights. I've called up there to complain and still nothing has been done and I feel it's because he's one of the trainers at this location. Wow, what a cool Mountainside fitness. I've been to a few locations throughout the valley and this one is my favorite. They have all the right machines and the decor has a very tranquil feel. I took the noon yoga class with Angela H. Angela is a very experienced and hands-on teacher pretty much A-mazing! We did a ton of deep stretch work. She gives modifications for beginners and advanced Yogis alike. I'm a frequent visitor at this location specifically and really enjoy It here. The staff is really friendly and some of them know my name already. The times that I visit this location work really well for me because it's never packed! We also get private parking for this gym but you must see the front desk to get a sticker for your windshield. Also, there shakes are the bomb! I definitely recommend the chunkey monkey.

Best gym downtown! I love that everyone is so friendly & inviting every time I go in . The front desk staff is always so sweet , love being greeted by cierra in the AM & Kim in the afternoon. customer service is everything!

I have been a member with mountainside for a four years. Really like the gym but must comment on the cleanliness of the Jefferson location. Cardio equipment, stairs, treadmill, climbers need a thorough wipe down. I have to say really disgusting and looks like no one other than clientele are wiping down. I'm hoping management takes the criticism as an call to action
