Yep, I have the pleasure of travelling a lot for my job and when I knew I was going to be in Mesa for a few months, I knew I needed to sign up for a gym. As luck would have it Mountainside is about 5 minutes away from where I was staying. A great gym and the quiet times fit in perfect for my schedule. All of the staff is great and friendly. And I mean that. The only thing I don't do there is yoga and spin, as I like to go to bikram and I found a place in Gilbert that has Keiser bikes. Outside of that I give 5 stars

They never closed my account after I went threw the whole proses to end my membership months ago! When I finally tried to resolve the problem they said the only way to close the account was to pay the balance, the balance I had already paid months before. They went ahead and TOOK the money out of my account even though I explained in detail my experience. This used to be a place I would recommend to friends or even strangers, and really do like the facility's. I am so disappointed with the lack of concern by the managment, a... read more

I've kind of made the rounds of Valley health clubs - The Village, Lifetime (see earlier review), and Mountainside Fitness. For the past 2 years, I've gone to the Desert Ridge location of Mountainside. It is a great facility, great staff, and always very clean. However, I recently relocated to Central Phoenix and am now going to the Chase Field location of Mountainside. As with all the Mountainside Fitness locations, two things immediately stand out. First, the gym is very clean. Second, the staff is friendly, helpful, but ... read more

Being a Mountainside Fitness member has been quite the experience. It's definitely had it's ups and downs, more downs as of late though. Which is why I think we're probably going to start looking elsewhere for a new gym. This location is great for those of us who live downtown, unfortunately this is a bad location for those who work downtown as well. Those of us who live downtown don't have an option of going to a bigger, nicer, newer Mountainside location. This one is often overrun by D'Backs employees during the gyms peak ... read more

Today they have one tv on an informercial, and another on the pbs music channel (muted, lol). It's pretty clear that no one here is awake.

My only complaint is that they don't have a sauna (only a steam room)... but with how clean and uncrowded this gym is, it's definitely not going to deter me from coming here. They also don't offer a lot of classes but that makes sense considering the fact that it isn't a busy location. I have been here at all times of the day (except early morning... which I have heard is the busiest) but the staff is always friendly, locker rooms and equipment clean and I typically can get my full workout in without having to wait for any m... read more

Pretty decent spot! Super duper fancy. It's REALLY small. Hardly any equipment... Pretty much the basics. They have a dope room upstairs where you can take virtual classes but the lighting in there is so terrible that it's pointless to try to take them. Staff is friendly but if you're serious about lifting.. Go to a different Mountainside.

It's nice. Not crowded at all and comes with that steam room. gym is separated with weights on bottom floor and then spin and studio upstairs.

After canceling my membership with an employee at this location. I now am getting calls and emails about a past due balance. I joined as month to month and was informed from an employee that he canceled my membership. Now I'm past due and they are sending me delinquent bills. I would highly avoid this gym for getting wrong information from multiple employees.
