What an awesome location! So brand new, I love the equipment and open balcony for outside workouts and fresh air, definitely a plus! I usually workout early mornings and it has a decent crowd, but not too busy which is nice since this is a smaller gym than other locations. Since it is convenient to my office, I will stop by occasionally on my lunch break for a workout as well. The staff is always friendly and gym/showers are well maintained. I've been a member for about 3 years, and I absolutely love that Mountainside decided to add this to their locations! I work very near the Scottsdale Waterfront, so being able to get my workout in after work while traffic slows is a huge bonus. While the gym is a little smaller than the other Mountainside locations I've been to, it has everything I need and then some and it is super clean and well organized. THIS LOCATION CLOSES AT 1pm ON SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS. Very inconvenient, considering I cancelled my membership from a CrossFit gym to be able to go to the gym at my leisure due to CrossFit's inconvenient class times. Also, I brought my friend in for the 5-day trial. Staff was nice, and gym was clean. We moved the rower near the stair climber so we could do intervals together (which I always do at every single mountainside I have ever been to and have been attending since 2012) and one of the girls on staff came all the way u... read more

Hi Hilary, We should be getting a women's barbell in the club within the next week or so! I am also very sorry about the experience your friend had at the club. Our employees are required to perform floor checks multiple times per hour and she might have communicated it poorly. I will make sure to speak with our manager about this. The limited hours prevented me from joining this location. It's crazy to close at 1 pm on the weekends. I tried the other mountainside locations and I loved them.
Shame they open a gym in a great location and totally limit the hours. Especially on a weekend! Questioning why I spent the extra amount to be an "exclusive member". The place is very clean but what can you expect they just opened a month ago.

Hi Rick. Thank you for the feedback. Due to the smaller size of this club, we are capping membership so that it doe not get too crowded for members. This is the reason behind the one-time fee. Yes, our hours here are modified but this may change as membership grows. We also plan on keeping the club as clean as it was the day we opened. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. So disappointed in the limited hours. Opening at 6am is way to late for people that work. Wish they would open the same hours as their other locations. I won't become a member because of this.
A great gym. A bit smaller but in the Mountainside tradition. Still has the "new car" smell. Very quiet, not crowded at all. Parking underground is right next to the elevator, it's very convenient. Staff is very friendly.

I was super excited when I found out that a MSF was opening within walking distance from my job! Unfortunately, even if you're already a member, you have to pay an additional one-time fee to be able to use this facility! On top of that, they hours at this location are very limited (Monday through Friday they don't open til 6:00am, and close at 8:00pm, then on the weekend they're only open from 6:00am til 1:00pm!
