This is the smallest Mountainside location I've visited. It has all of the basic equipment, but just one of each machine, so if somebody is camped out on the leg press for 20 minutes, you were out of luck. But it's perfectly functional for most workouts, and not usually crowded when I come around 6-7 in the morning. My primary complaints are with the lack of maintenance. We paid extra to come to this location, and so far I am not impressed. Upon trying to get in, the escalator was broken, and as someone with a disability, I was unable to make it up. My husband walked up and spoke to the guy at the front desk who said they do have an elevator that doesn't run until 10:00a...Great. Then when we make it up, the bathroom had lockers with locks broken off, a shower was broken, and it was dirty in there. I figured no big deal, and then walked out to the floor to dirty equipment. This facility is great. The staff here are great, super friendly...clean nice facility. I would highly recommend Mountainside fitness over the big box corporate gym facilities. Mountainside is strict about cleanliness, safety and the important issues that I value.

We recently visited Scottsdale for a week and purchased a couple's membership for $84, which covers a month. Size and Atmosphere: The gym is smaller than other locations but has a friendly staff. Equipment: While the equipment is limited, there are well-organized sections for machines, weights, and cardio. We particularly enjoyed the sunny outdoor area. Location: The gym is conveniently located in downtown Scottsdale. You need to cancel your membership in person so don't go running off before canceling!

I come to Scottsdale several times a year to see my son in college. We always stay in Scottsdale, they always get my workouts at this wonderful gym!! Always alike crowd, never too crowded. People at the front desk are so friendly. You feel like you're back home working out. Make sure and get a smoothie !!!
They have a manager, Mario Arce who was completely disrespectful to one of my friends and kicked him out of the gym when he came up from the business below to request that they address the weights being dropped to loud. I was looking forward to joining the mountainside that is opening up on FLW but I will no longer even think of supporting this company.
New to the area and joined this gym! The staff is friendly and it's always clean. Affordable as well.
