I went to go check out this new gym over from Oldtown and it was pretty awesome. Its huge and everything is brand new. I like how they have the hammer-strength machines, regular machines, freeweights, olympic lifting platforms, and the crossfit type equipment. They also have a lot of interesting cardio machines and a shiny new locker room with suana. I usually go to MS on talking stick road but I can definitely see me coming back over here to use some of this new equipment a couple days a week!

I just joined this location and it does not disappoint. The staff are friendly and professional, all equipment is clean and new, the classes are challenging and there is plenty of space in the weight room to get what you need accomplished and then some. The other members are very friendly and social as well. I'm looking forward to many years of membership here.

Be Aware! MOUNTAINSIDE FITNESS - SHEA - Cleaning staff is not properly trained to sanitized equipments. I witnessed her wipe down 7 treadmills with the same dirty cloth and NO sanitizer. She took a clean cloth and wiped down the garbage can first and than proceeded to wipe the rest of the machine with the same cloth. I informed the trainer and he said she was dusting! He obviously doesn't think she is spreading the germs. The manager told me they contract out the cleaners so they don't train them how to clean. Please, please... read more

This new location is bigger and better than the other locations nearby. The area for the free weights and machines is very impressive. Special areas for crossfit, spin and other classes. Parking seems to be more than ample.

This new facility is ALWAYS clean, and has more than enough equipment to get my workouts in no matter what time of day I come in! They have Purell wipes at every corner of the gym and their front desk and management team seem to always be on top of cleaning and disinfecting equipment, which is very important to me. Mountainside keeps improving and upgrading its offering with each new location!

This is just one persons experience. The fitness industry as a whole, sucks. It seems like some of these employees have been forced to work in this profession. They just seem so miserable and in any service industry the one thing you need is people skills. I'm amazed that any corporation hires people that are missing this obvious skill. This location is GORGEOUS! I am so happy they opened one in Paradise Valley. I have nothing but positive experiences every time I come in for a workout. Each staff member is so welcoming and the trainers are very attentive to their clients. The group fitness rooms are so cool and they have an outdoor area which is genius! Mountainside is hands down the best gym in the valley and I will be a member for life!
