I'm a huge fan of Mountainside Fitness and I've been to many of their locations and always been happy with the employees, classes, equipment and the facilities. This location stinks like a dirty locker room from the second you walk in throughout the entire building. It is filthy and disgusting and I will never come back to this location again. I wish I can give you 5 stars because you're in my neighborhood, but then I'd be lying! They have good equipment and lots of classes, good place to leave your kids at too. BUT please!! Require your instructors to update their music! It's so... old school! Not trendy or motivating for a workout class. There are other mountainside locations with BETTER music. Please, do us all a favor and get your instructors with better music.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE. I took my two year old in and they have cameras so you can watch the kids and I could not see mine for a few minutes, so I went in and out of the 4 staff members not a single one knew where he was. Turns out he was in the bathroom all by himself, for who knows how long. I cannot believe they let a 2 year old kid in the bathroom by himself, and then proceeded to not check on him. This place is not meant for young children.

I used to love Mountainside, as I have been going there for 8 years. Unfortunately I had really awful incident happen and I wont be returning. I left a meaningful sweater in the sauna, and as soon as I left the facility, I called. The girl at the front desk put me on hold so she could look and came back on the line to asked me if it was a "fuzzy black sweater", which was confirmation that she did in fact find my sweater. I highly recommend Ava for personal training services!! She is personable, well organized, and every session is unique. I had positive results in strength snd muscle growth! She was accommodating for my husband's injuries and was able to offer options to target the muscle. Ava was a delight to work with!!

What was missing at other gyms I have been to in AZ, I found at Mountainside Fitness PV. Signed up a few months ago with Cameron, super friendly and knowledgeable about all Mountainside's amenities and policies. I was very pleased with how he answered all my questions. Caitlyn who I believe is the general manager has been super kind to me every time I check in. I feel like all the staff take interest in their members. The facility is kept very clean. Would definitely recommend this gym to anyone in AZ!

This place is the saddest place for my kids. The ladies at the kids care are so rude. No expression. I cannot trust that they like their job being around kids. I've noticed the kids care manager hides behind a pillar where the camera can't see her very well, and her look just doesn't give me any trust in leaving my kids there. I've actually cut my workouts short because I just didn't feel warmly accepted or that they liked being around other kids. This place needs work even though it's new! It's the staff.
