I can't say enough good things about this gym and my personal trainer, Shannon Allen. I had originally intended to sign up here only while our regular gym was closed during the Covid crisis, but this gym exceeded our expectations in every way. It is large, clean, and new, with plenty of natural light. I've been a member of the new Mountainside on Shea since day one! At first I decided to go month to month to see if I would like it and used it consistently. All my concerns Were erased from the very beginning. I've told the managers I feel safer here from the virus than from my own home! They keep the place so sanitized as well do the members. I love this new Mountainside Fitness in Paradise Valley. Everything is brand new and top of line equipment. They have done a great job keeping everything very clean. Every where you turn there are wipes for the machines and towels for you. The locker rooms are some of the nicest that I have seen at various gyms around. The best is the staff. So incredibly disappointed. After being a customer at other locations for 7 years I went and signed on at this new location, about a week before covid struck. I didn't get to workout even once before freezing my membership for their then maximum of 3 months. Then they closed due to state orders, and reopened illegally, and then closed again. My 3 month freeze expired in July despite the fact that they weren't open for most of it. So clean, top of the line equipment, staff there if you need them but doesn't bother you. I know they're going through it right now with the pandemic, but hope they survive financially. I miss them as much as any business affected by COVID. Mask up people!

What I got lacking at Esporta Fitness, I got extra at Mountainside. I still can't believe I pay such an affordable and fair price to use such high quality nice gym! The place is beautiful, everything is clean, and new. Folks greet us every single time we walk in and out. My fiancée had dropped his air-pod into the stair climber and asked for the help of the front desk guy. Very nice Gym!! I love this gym it's very clean, and there are sanitizing wipes everywhere, I always see crew members cleaning. The equipment is pristine and I'm very happy about it. There's so much energy in the room it's really cool!

Great gym! Every piece of equipment you could want, enough squat racks, and it is super well-maintained. The classes are also really good and I appreciate the variety and number of classes offered each day. It's always very clean and I really appreciate Tom Hatten standing up for the company and continuing to provide the amazing Mountainside experience to all members.

Update 6/22/2020: The manager called and talked to me about it and expressed their apologies and that they will be more aware of their communication. Have been a member here for a while now. Judgemental employee, what a sham. Need to train your staff on better customer service and attitude. After a 3hr work out, 2mile run, and a class I wanted to use the massage chairs. Couldn't figure out how to turn it on. So I asked the front desk girl, who was folding towels at the time, if all the chairs are turned off for a reason. She... read more
