Love this place! Convenient location in Surprise with super friendly staff and really great classes. There's plenty of equipment that are very clean and well maintained. Wouldn't go anywhere else in this area! Plus Mountainside has locations all over the valley and you can go to any of them with your membership.

I love this gym and wouldn't consider going anywhere else if this gym had a different gym manager. I have lost many gym buddies because of the way she handles issues. Angie is fake and insincere not to mention unprofessional. She plants herself out at one of the desks and doesn't help her employees. There will be a line of people trying to check in or needing a drink from the smoothie bar and she doesn't budge, she is too busy talking. Our family enjoys this gym a lot. The equipment is nice and the classes are great. People in childcare take the time to get to know us and our kids. However, $6 for the rock wall is outrageous.

I really like this gym - it has lots of equipment and I never have to wait for machines. I wish they had more classes during the day - Surprise is a retirement community and I think a lot of people would attend mid-day classes. The gym is solid and the staff seem friendly and upbeat. I've been a member here for over 6 years and I have to say, I've wandered off a few times, either trying boutique gyms or just quit exercising altogether for any number of reasons. But I always end up coming home to Mountainside Fitness in Surprise. The people in earlier reviews who bitch about parking seriously make me question humanity. You are going to the gym. To workout. Well I must have to say that I do like this gym at the Surprise location and some of the staff there. Dolly, is the sweetest lady you meet when you walk in the door. She greets you with a smile and a warm welcome and will help you will anything you need. Kim, Stefani... Awesome instructors in turbo, functional fitness, and CSC. Kristi, and Jenny.... While I really miss the idea of being able to come whenever I wanted to, this gym really does have great hours. We have used the childcare on multiple occasions and the kids love it! I love being able to check in on them via the monitors. Just had a great smoothie. My son loves the rock wall and basketball court. Perhaps, I can get him to join me on the cardio and variety of equipment.

This is for the Surprise location, I've gone back and even utilized the childcare. The facility itself is nice but they need some major work on the customer service. The person at check in has been rude twice now and in my opinion the girls working in childcare are not friendly at all! Id recommend it if your kids are older 5+ but mine aren't and I won't be taking my kids back, the workers just didn't make me feel comfortable leaving my baby there.

Paid Cash for this account for one year talked to your Service Representative and was insured that after the year was over I was not obligated to renew. She insured me that by telling me,"We do not even have a credit card to bill, you paid cash." We previously purchased in cash two other year memberships for our employees and they have not received a statement from Mountainside Fitness as of yet.
