Nice facility with great instructors and helpful staff. It's very clean. Lots of equipment and class choices.

This review is for the massage services at this particular Mountainside fitness. Tracy is a phenomenal massage therapist! I have Parkinson's and often suffer from knots in my muscles for my back and neck. Tracy provided deep tissue massage and was relentless! She was able to free up the fascia binding down my muscles that make moving and even breathing difficult due to my Parkinson's. I work out regularly and use both the dry and steam sauna at Mountainside. Nothing seems to help get the knots out but deep tissue massage. My... read more

Terrible service and staff! They have "family fitness" on Sunday's but if your kid wants to do rock climbing they have to go to child care. How is sending your kid to child care Family Fitness?Useless managers and not helpful at all.
This gym has everything -- a crossfit area, free weights, a large number of machines and cardio equipment, TRX/HIIT equipment, an area for circuit training, and multiple rooms for workout classes. They also have a smoothie bar, free coffee, a movie room, and very high quality locker rooms. The sauna and steam room are always empty, and they offer executive lockers which include laundry service. They have an app in which you can sign up for classes. Been using this gym starting in north Phoenix since 2008. It's good but getting crammed with new work out stuff but still worth it

Staff is always very nice at this gym and this gym is kept very clean. I never have to wait for machine and this gym is always upgrading not bad for the money
We were looking for gyms in surprise and many of them are dirty and old. Mountainside has friendly staff, is kept very clean and has everything you'd need in a gym. Good babysitting, fun classes, clean locker rooms and never a wait for cardio machines. During peak hours you might have to wait for weight machines but that's to be expected anywhere. Cost is a little higher than some gyms (65 for a couple per month) but it is so worth it
Great gym, great classes but will never get a membership there again, they don't give a crap what happens in your life when it comes to their monthly fees.
