Jared didn’t seem to fully understand his own processes or what I cared about relative to my loan. His attempts to steer me towards points were transparent. He failed to quote certain fees for locking my mortgage over the phone which were later added. The draft disclosures I received were frequently littered with errors - such as putting my home insurance at 15000/year, an absurd amount - and these were not corrected even after I mentioned them repeatedly to Jared.

We had used Rob for a mortgage on our previous home and everything went smoothly. When we first contacted Rob for this mortgage, he told my husband that we would be able to float the rate down from the rate that was locked initially if it went lower during the 30 day period after locking. Rob said he put in the request when we pointed out on 6/26 that the rate had come down to 5.25% from the 5.625 that we had locked. An advisor/load originator that followed through with each phaze of the loan process to ensure that the ball isn't dropped. The change to close date caused absolute chaos the week of closing. Doug was unable to reimberse the loan costs of $995 as agreed. He is now trying to use it to cover a credit for a future refinance which is not what I wanted. Also, the interest rate is no where near the 6.3% that was quoted at the beginning.
