Horrible experience I was 10 minutes late late for my appointment. It takes a lot to get gathered my dog and get him here and they canceled my appointment because I was 10 minutes late. On top of that they keep sending me alerts for my dog that has passed and that pet that I had it took them months to find out what it was he suffered in pain. and by that time it was too late and we had to put them down for cancer.

We did implement the 10 minute grace-period policy earlier this year to make sure the doctors were able to see pets in a timely manner. I have a cat with Kidney disease, saw the doctor on a Tuesday for a check up and blood work, elevated numbers so increased subcutaneous fluids to every other day, on Sunday he went into respiratory distress, cats lungs were substantially full of fluid, appears he had heart disease. Had to put him down. Not sure why the doctor didn't hear this on Tuesday? Why wouldn't they check for heart health too knowing he is a 12-year-old cat. I called them and asked and they said I can walk in and wait until doctor is available, but when I drove to them they said I can't, said no walk in today, then why the hell you said on the phone there is walk in ? So I have to come and leave with sick cat all the way from different city?

Was very disappointed with this place today. Not pet or people friendly, just out for the money. We adopted a dog, called for appointment for free first check up. Could not get in with-in 7 day of date required, due to 2weeks to schedule. We explained the 7 days and he's a rescue. The receptionist said they would wave the dead line. Made appointment, came in today and was told after check in and waiting in room for a half-hour for Dr., said would not be covered cause over the 7 days. Took good care of my armadillo but the front desk girl was very sassy. She called my armadillo little dill and it made him viably distraught for the rest of the day.

NOT ANIMAL LOVERS AT ALL!! My food shipment was delayed. This is the only place that is open on Sunday. I have an 8 year old rescue who has no food. THEY WOULD NOT HELP ME. I didn't have a rx so they wouldn't give it to me. He has every medical condition under the sun and eats only prescription food. NAPERVILLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL had zero issues with me NOT FEEDING MY DOG until I can get food with a prescription. That clearly can't happen until tomorrow. We have been going here for over 20 years (3 dogs) and we will never go back. Our dog passed this past January after 13 years so when we just adopted a new dog we wanted to bring him here. Today we walked in around 4:35, after a long day at work, and were told that they had been very busy and wouldn't see our dog. They are open until 8 and they do not take appointments, they are first come first serve. If you want a vet office that cares about THEIR patients, I would not recommend this place. They used to be great and we were long time customers up until today. Over the last few months their staff and hours have dramatically decreased! The hours online state 7am-8pm that is NOT the case. After driving 45 minutes to the vet. I got there at 5:34 and the receptionist said "we are not taking anymore patients for the day" "We stopped taking walk ins at 5:30" I was baffled.. Refused to give me the medication my dogs have been on to prevent them from fighting. I have been calling in refills for months with no question. Their reason? They want an exam because I havent had one in a year. NO MEDICAL REASON. Without this medication you are knowingly putting my young children and dogs at risk. Naperville, I have ran pet stores for many years and have worked closely with Vets. This is 100% an attempt to get an examination cost and more money from me.
