We brought our dog in over the summer when it was time to put him down. The staff was very accommodating and got us through the process quickly without rushing us. The room with the couch is such a nice touch so your pet can spend its last moments in comfort. Paying beforehand was great too so we could leave immediately and they let us go out the back door so we wouldn't have to walk past anyone on our way out. They were amazing with our beloved pup, Rusty. Although nothing could be done to save him, they provided the upmost care for him. All the staff members (from the front desk, to the techs, to the vets) were compassionate, caring, and supportive during this difficult time for our family.

Of the three different experiences we have had with NVS with three different dogs, I cannot say enough about the way that they care for the animals and their compassion with both emergency visits and surgical. They were all great with our pups.

My rescue terrier had a heat stroke one early morning in July and I called on my way. They triaged him immediately on a very busy day and I even had the chance to visit with him to be sure he was calm and not too anxious about separation from Mom.
I highly recommend Nashville Veterinary Specialists & Animal Emergency. They took excellent care of my cat when he had bladder stones and a partial blockage. Dr. Roach is an excellent surgeon, was very kind to my cat, and always responsive to questions. Darlene was also amazing to interact with. The clinic is very clean and the front staff was immediately responsive to my cat's needs when we walked through the door.
