Today was a scary day for me. I woke up to my kitten crying in pain, with a swollen abdomen and discolored urine...I live in Bowling Green, Kentucky and it os a Sunday, Memorial Day weekend no doubt, and this was the closest place open. But they were PHENOMINAL!! From how she interacted with Harely (my kitten), to the respect and genuine concern they showed they were top notch all around. We took Taco at the recommendation of our local vet. They were able to examine him & schedule surgery for the next week. Dr. Streppa explained everything in detail in words we could easily understand. Dr Streppa was great handling Taco who is a rescue dog & not usually good with vets. Their compassion and care was excellent.
My Boxer had been paralyzed for a week and I was advised to bring her to see the neurologist. Dr House saw her and took her for an exam. Her professional opinion after exam was a pinched nerve caused by an FCE or cartilage embolism. She then told me that the only way to be positive was an MRI. I wanted her opinion about whether I should and I followed her advice. Though that one pinged my wallet pretty hard I wanted certainty and she was right. One excellent doctor. A great hospital. Needed and emergency vet for my pup on a Sunday night and this place was amazing. The people were so kind and they were quick. I am so grateful for having a place like this that is always open and willing to answer all of my questions!
The folks at NVS are SO kind and compassionate, beyond excellent! Tragically our beloved 14 yr.old doxie passed away suddenly and unexpectedly over the weekend and our vet's office was closed. When I called NVS for help, the person I spoke with was VERY comforting and helpful as were the folks at NVS when we arrived with our beloved little Bella. NVS provided safe keeping until cremation arrangements were made. We will be forever grateful for the care NVS provided our family during a very sad time. THANK YOU NVS!!!

Our dog was very sick and they did a great job getting him feeling better. He has fully recovered after being correctly diagnosed and given proper medication. I highly recommend for pet emergency.
Me and my husband took our dog there like 2:00 am..Service was quick and friendly..The vet did not try to sell us stuff that wasnt needed..Price was much lower than we anticipated.. Would definitely recommend.
