Nationwide sucks! I have never received 90% back on ANY of my claims. One of the biggest complaints I have is why am I not covered for Flea prevention? Between the flea and heartworm prevention cost me 175.00 and they only covered 50.00? Really? I have been with VPI (at the time before Nationwide took over) for about 10 years and now that my dog is getting older and issues are coming to view, they always have a reason Im not covered? Superior plan/with care core wellness and IM still not covered. How pathetic.
Nationwide's pet insurance is a scam and they will steal your money and avoid paying out claims. NOT "on your side". Their ratings on consumer pages is 1 star. Do not believe this A+ rating that BBB has listed because Nationwide doesn't care about the policy holder, only lining their pockets. Worst customer service and will not provide the data to policy holders on how they come up with their decisions. This is the WORST company to get insurance with.
Nationwide IS NOT on your side. In the beginning of Feb 2018, I was contacted by an agent because my automatic payment was returned due to insufficient funds in my account. I fully took responsibility for the mishap and we scheduled a payment to be made on Feb 16th 2018 for the full amount. However, this payment was not attempted on 2/16 like I requested. Stay away from nation wide insurance. After one year your rates will be increased 1/3rd with no accidents or faults. The CEO Steve R is on rip off reports for being a liar. 95% neg reviews on BBB with a Aplus rating??? hahah. what a bunch of crooks! Shop your rates yearly because companies like this are a dime a dozen. You have been warned.

Nationwide is very difficult company to do business with . Communication is non existent from the claims adjuster, Agent does not care whether the Company honors the contract that I have paid for 30 years. I don't feel that the Company should make the statement or slogan part of their lie to the public. It is quite apparent that Nationwide is not on anyone's side except theirs. Nationwide is one of the worse insurane companies in the Nation. It certain is not on the side of any of its clients. The company should remove this slogan from all of its ads. Nationwide is the worst insurance company. I have been with them for years and an my debut cad Expired for on autopay they canceled all my policies and now $750 in dmv fees caused because of this and they won’t reinstate them. #insurance #nationwide #badcustomerservice

They constantly raise rates for no reason. There customer service representatives have lied to me multiple times about the real reason for the rate increases and my agent told me he would get me quotes from other companies instead of dealing with the real issue.

I had my auto loan through nationwide for the last few years. I just paid it off in full about a month ago and had been told my title was on its way via mail. 30+ days later, nothing. I called and was transferred to the titles department. I was then told that my title was mailed 1/2/18 - a month ago.
