Do NOT use this company for your FSA plans. Every time I go to the dentist they deny the claim because the insurance payment is pending. I wait and resubmit once the insurance has paid as this is the reason for the denial and every time they deny the claim again after the insurance has paid their part. it happens because the receipt I get actually has to be read through to understand where the insurance pays. Called customer service rep today after getting on line and not understanding my account. She explained in detail what I was looking at. She also answered a few more questions I had.
This is the company that my work/health insurance uses for the flex spending account (fsa). The whole point of the fsa is to take pre-tax money from MY paycheck to be used at a later date for MY HEALTHCARE COSTS. It does not matter what my insurance pays, what does matter is the amount I paid-the whole and sole purpose of the fsa. I submitted different receipts for reimbursement, one from a DENTIST and one from an ANESTHESIOLOGIST. Have been receiving benefits regularly for several years and now it stopped in January without notice. Figured I would call the number that shows up in response to all "complaints". On hold for 21 minutes and disconnected (that was last week). Your people are certainly polite, probably because that is what you are measuring, but there is more to customer service than that.
