Animal Emergency & Critical Care - just wanted to give you a little information that might help you deal with future patients. My family and I came in on Sunday evening with our cat Crosby who passed away while we were there. I understand at a glance Crosby looked frail and very skinny and perhaps even looked neglected. I assure you he was treated like a king. Please always remember that there is a story attached to each pet that comes through your door and each family also has a story. Crosby had been our pet for 12 ye... read more

Business response:

We apologize for falling short of expectations with our care of Crosby. A member of our leadership would like to reach out to you directly to discuss your concerns. They only care about money. They don’t even treat your pet if you don’t deposit money in advance. They will just let your pet die. And guess what they’ll still charge you for just coming to their clinic. Basically they’ll charge to kill your pet. No emotion at all. Never go there if you love your pets

Business response:

We understand that veterinary care can be costly, which is why we always try to accommodate our clients to the best of our ability. We offer a variety of treatment options so that you may select a less costly alternative, if possible. We aim to provide you with the information and educational resources to make the most informed decision for your pet. According to our records, Alex presented for heatstroke with a body temperature of 106 and we began treating before he went into cardiac arrest. We are very sorry for your loss.... read more

This vet is a joke! Do not waste your time or money. And apparently, just getting your help invoice approved so you can pay takes an act of Congress!!!

Absolutely the worst place to take your beloved pets even in an emergency. The front office staff were friendly and Dr. Gaub certainly was too however I feel they lacked experience and unnecessarily rushed into an extreme case scenario with my puppy. Told there was a sock in his intestine with vomiting and after $3000 and emergency surgery there was zero sock and no answers. During discharge a tech brought him out to me and literally gave zero information leaving us befaffled. After asking to speak with an office manager the... read more

I read the reviews and I do not agree. We took our cat Casey in because she was attacked by an outdoor tomcat. She was bleeding profusely from wounds on her head and could not walk straight. Casey is an outdoor cat we have had her for over 6 years that did not want to stay inside. She and two others live in our garage with heated blankets, food and water. While I would rather have her inside she doesn't want it. They said she was too feral to treat. She is 6 pounds. They did not treat her at all and charged 302.00 for the co... read more

On Memorial day Our 2 older German shepherds were playing and the larger 90Ib male fell backwards onto our 7 week old German Shepherd. We thought she was going to die. We originally called HSVE and they said to bring her in and to fill out an online application to expedite the check in process. When we get there we were told there was a 2hr wait that was not mentioned when we talked to them on the phone and explained we were 45 minutes to and hour away and she was still out of it coughing up blood. Luckily this place was aro... read more
