My dogs were vaccinated without my consent not only once but twice. Plus a $40 wound debridement was preformed without consent. Three different cases over the last three months, shame on me for continuing to go back. Our first dog that was wrongly vaccinated is young and strong but had they asked me prior to giving the vaccine she was up to date but their computers crashed and lost her record prior to Covid. Sadly, the last nonconsensual vaccine was given to our 13.5 year old very sick dog that caused her decline and ult... read more

Sarah, we are saddened to hear you feel this way and are terribly sorry for your loss. Please know that we take your feedback very seriously and have used it to improve our internal process. We have loved having you as a loyal client over the last 9 years and would greatly appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns further, our hospital manager will be reaching out shortly.
Unfortunately doctors/assistants were pretty useless to me and my pet. Dr. did not know what she is doing - no knowledge on the problem my pet had. She gave some useless advice that had nothing to do with the disease my dog had. 2 visits ($120) plus medication and nothing was solved. I understand they are not specialists- but they at least should have general knowledge on every disease! There are multiple doctors in this hospital.. extremely rude/judgy assistant that gossips behind the door about you:) yes I could hear yo... read more

Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about this issue. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. Our Managing Veterinarian tried calling your number but your voicemail was not set up to receive messages, he also sent you an email so that we can discuss your concerns at your convenience. Thank you, Northpointe Animal Hospital
Oops I meant to update this 2 years ago, we had our pet surgery at the other office for $1500, it was done perfectly well and they did compare estimates and explain to me side by side to Northpointe's. Our pet is still doing great from the place we went instead of Northpointe and never had a problem. I Work'd in a surgery office for 10 years so I do understand estimates, procedures and charges. I wasn't confused at all, but thanks for the insinuation that I was . ( in your reply)

Thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback. According to our records, our veterinarian spoke with both of you at length in regards to your pet's x-rays and what is recommended for treatment. It is our policy to provide clients with written information explaining your pet's multiple diagnoses in hopes that this might help with any follow up questions. As always, we do provide you with extensive and detailed treatment plans to help you prepare for costs. Our estimate was inclusive of the multiple procedures ... read more
First off the vets here are amazing, I've been with the since they've opened. DONT sign up for there office visit plan, costs get rolled into the other services and you'll end up paying more in the long run and have a monthly bill on top of it. Plus if your pet has issues you'll be stuck with a year long bill if it passes. Great vets, bad business practices.
So disappointed in Northpointe. I'd been a loyal customer for years but lately the costs have been outrageous. In late Oct, early Nov (I can't remember exactly when) we wanted to get our 5 yo and 3yo dogs teeth cleaned. We were quoted $800-$1200 PER DOG! And this was after it was suggested to sign up for more paw plan to "save" money. Went over to Cedar Valley Vet in MLT and paid $150 per dog for the same exact service plus they even groomed our dogs too while they were under anesthesia. I decided then and there we were done... read more
The receptionist here is very defensive and argumentative and appears to think less of you if you question pricing. I have a cat with stomatitis (which means her immune system attacks her teeth. Most have been pulled) She only has 3 molars left and canines but I was quoted $983.00 for a dental cleaning plus additional $300 to pull her 3 molars!! This $1283.00 quote is for a "routine" dental mind you! Who could routinely afford this? This is half the amount I paid for a major leg surgery for my dog at a specialty surgery... read more

Hi Debbie, thank you for your feedback. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional veterinary care and excellent customer service, so we are sad to hear you did not feel this to be your experience. To ensure we are offering the best care possible to every patient, all Dental Cleanings includes x-rays, fluids, pre-anesthetic bloodwork and pain meds with extractions.. They are built into the price and we do not perform surgeries without them, as we feel very strongly that they are necessary to include if we want to offer the ... read more
I've gone to this vet clinic twice now and both times I was unhappy. The first time I took my dog in was because there was a wire sticking out from where he had been neutered before I adopted him (apparently they sometimes use wire instead of stitches to neuter dogs..) The doctor looked at it, told me they could just cut it with clippers, and went to the back to get some. He came back about 10 minutes later and told me that he probably actually needs surgery to remove it. Once I told him that I was going to just go home and ... read more

Hi Jessica, thank you for your feedback. We apologize you have not been satisfied with the care provided to your pup during your experiences with Northpointe Animal Hospital. Our number one priority is to provide your pet with exceptional veterinary care that is both comprehensive and efficient. We try our best to communicate to clients a variety of treatment options and work hard to explain the importance of why we recommend certain services for preventative reasons, especially if they seem unnecessary on the surface. We ap... read more
got my dog teeth cleaned here and after the surgery he developed a goose like cough that he never had before. brought him in a few days after the surgery and they said it would heal and it never did. after I got my pets record sent to my new vet, the notes indicated that they might have damaged his trachea during the procedure. well it never healed and now forever has this cough. don't go here!

The positive reviews on here are fake. Don't deal with these people! I've made the mistake of stepping foot in this place 2 yrs ago and I'm still fighting the collection agency for services that were never provided to me but is filed in collections. If you go there, don't sign anything! and when you pay, pay cash. They will start charging your card and claim you signed a contract. They will ruin your credit. It's not worth it. Do not go there.
