Treated me and my pets like garbage. Clearly see my pets as revenue, always looking for another way to squeeze more money out of you. Recommended treatment and then "couldn't" schedule it and promised to call when they could. Never called. My pets suffered as a result. They aren't even apologetic (except the fake non-apologies in response to negative reviews). They should not be trusted to care for your pet rock.

Business response:

Rebecca, Thank you for talking through your concerns. We're sorry your pets were unable to receive their dental cleanings within your requested time frame, and we're committed to providing the best possible care for your pets. Since 2023, Northpointe has changed significantly and is no longer experiencing the same lead time on appointments and surgeries. We've added two additional DVMs and are able to accommodate more patients. We understand that you were not able to make the appointment we offered , which was with a diff... read more

Sept 28th 2024 had a follow up appointment (that probably would have taken 10 minutes max) at 430 and arrived at 4:42. I was charged a late fee of (94.50) and not seen. I've been a customer for multiple years and whenever we had procedures/appointments I would drop off my dogs early. Low and behold when I'm slightly over their 10 minute window they provide 0 sympathy. Highly disappointed. It's monster traffic weekend and there was an accident. Life happens and I wasn't 30+ minutes late or anything. I'll be canceling both of ... read more

Beware: This vet office is extraordinarily unprofessional and they don't care about the customers who use their business. I've paid hundreds of dollars to them, invested in their "paw plan" and have been an easy to work with pet owner. When I raised concerns because I was 1. Regularly contacted about a pet that WAS NOT MINE. 2. Even received paperwork and test results of another owners pet (I'm sure they'd love to have those) 3. When trying to remedy to issue of being contacted and emailed about pets that aren't mine, they r... read more

we have been a client there 9 yrs and have a cat and 2 dogs that are on their monthly payment plan. This is a nation wide corporate owned clinic, so they are just squeezing money. Dr. McLaughlin is great w animals and people; he knows his trade very well, but is just a corporate employee. He is the only stable vetenarian there. The rest of the vet just worked for a short time, a year or two. Last year we had a scheduled dental cleaning for our 5 yr old dog. Dropped her off at 8AM fasting no food since prior evening. By 4pm w... read more

Find another vet. Don't even waste your time and money trying to work with them, this place all about money. They don't care about your pets. Thats not what it used to be years ago.

They only care about your money not your pet. Do not go there, you will be sorry later.

Was running late for my dogs appointment, as people do sometimes, and when they called I let them know I would be there in 10 minutes and they said okay and I got there, within 10 minutes mind you, at which time they told me I was "well in to his appointment time(it was a whopping 15 minutes late at this point) so they need to reschedule and they will be charging me $50 for a missed appointment. Get real. Money hungry whores.

Just saw pics of my friend's dog after surgery. My dog has had 3 ACL surgeries and compared to those this stitching looks horrible.

As a young dog owner, we are always looking for a decent "back up' vet in case our's is out of town, or we cannot get an appointment with our regular vet. However, this will not be the practice that I could entrust the care of my best friend, my dog. I witnessed Dr. Mclauglin's post surgical stapling sutures of my friend's dog and I have to wonder who actually completed the procedure, their receptionist? The poor pup's sutures were uneven, poorly spaced and created more discomfort and distress to an already stressful situati... read more
