Horrible Customer Service at the actual Stor america location we wanted to rent the unit from. The worker behind the counter was very rude and un profesional.

I filled out the info online Dec 13th and was supposed to get the first month free and insurance would be waived as I have insurance on my motorcycle already...was going to explain that when the rep was going to contact me after filling out the form and prior to moving in. No one ever did. I moved in Dec 28th. I paid fees etc up front to move in. 36.00 to be exact. For a small 5x10 unit. "First month free"... Got charged 74.00 today on Jan 13th. I moved in Dec 28th. New managers or not. This is still the same place that refused my money then sold my unit at auction a week later for less than I came in with. Selling a persons legal documents, personal identifying information, family photos ect is NEVER something that any business should do. If Rightspace wouldnt have made it impossible for me to pay the balance owed by refusing my money and jacking up the price with outrageous lien fees I would have been able to pay the balance. My storage unit was filthy when I moved in and I’m STILL waiting for the light outside my unit to be fixed. I have to bring a g-d flashlight just to see inside. I really think I should be getting a discounted rate for this nonsense. Maybe I made a big mistake leaving my other storage facility.
