As out 3-year old grad daughter calls it, our fall "adventure" to the Oak Island area started pleasantly at the offices of Oak Iskand Accomodations and ended with great customer service from this group of helpful people. Everything about the getaway was great. The house (with season specific decorations in the house) the beach, and the local restaurants were all top notch. My first memories of Oak Island were about 40 years ago. Our family vacation each year was on the beachfront property. For the last five years I have been able to take my parents back and introducing my friends to the island �. Looking forward to this year.
We have rented through OIA for several years and have been very pleased. However, this year, the house we stayed in seemed like it had not been cleaned at all. I see so many complaints on here for the same reason. It seems that oak island accommodations needs to change to a different cleaning service.
We have vacationed at Oak Island most all summers for the past 25 years. Love love love Oak Island!! Love the realtors and the beautiful homes! A +++ all the way!!! Beautiful non- commercialized island! Love the privacy of this turtle island home! Love to search for treasures in the ocean! Love to crab hunt at night! Love to spend time with family for a week in paradise!
We have been renting from OIA for years also. We never had a bad experience until this past summer. The home we stayed in was nice on the outside but the cleaning crew had done the worst job EVER cleaning our rental. The list is long... for starters the master bedroom had no mattress cover on it, just sheets... that is so nasty.. it's the easiest way to prevent bed bugs yet it had no cover on it.
