We had problems with the washer and dryer which caused us to find a laundromat while waiting for it to be fixed. The response time to the washer and dryer was fast and taken care of efficiently. We also had a problem with the 2nd bathroom upstairs but again response and fix was fast. Suggest a 2nd couch or more comfortable chairs in main living room. Need a large frying pan for the fish we caught and ate every night. Current pans are not big enough. We did have a great time and absolutely LOVE the covered common area outside... read more
We have rented homes on Oak Island for the last 2 summers; one was a family trip and the second was a last minute week getaway for my daughter and me. In other instances, we found OIA to have a great selection and easy to deal with. Prices are fair, and the employees are friendly and kind. We recommend and plan to use them again in the future!
The Ocean front location, nice porch, and dog-friendly accommodations are the critical features. The only difficulty I usually face when renting is being packed up by 10:00 AM. A noon check-out would be easier, and I would be willing to pay a small fee for this option.

We have used Oak Island Accommodations 4 times and each time was a great experience. The staff is excellent! The couple of times we had a issue with our rental they sent someone out right away to fix it. We love Oak Island and always enjoy where we stay.
