The staff and facilities make you feel like family and they treat Mom like family. She is at home there. She has people her age to talk to and interact with. I think it fits her well.

I'm very happy with Mama's specific caregivers. There's always room for improvement but, overall, I'm pleased with the care Mama receives and I feel that she's safe at Oaks.

They are Very supportive, friendly and caring. We chose this facility because of the proximity to our house, the November special and the staff.

When it comes to the meals and dining I haven't tried it but my Dad has not complained. I am extremely pleased. Everyone is very accommodating and friendly both for resident and family members. They are always available to help. The facility is always clean and fresh. I would highly recommend The Oaks at Charleston. My Dad is a resident here and I am glad that I chose them.
Overall, I am pleased with the care my mother is receiving. It felt more homey than the other facility we were looking at. Cost was a factor, of course.
Staff is friendly and helpful and takes great care of our Mom. The weekend staff however need to have more training and be more attentive.

The price is great but if your lived one needs a lot of support, I'd go somewhere else. They could have Cleaner rooms and Include healthier choices for meals.

The update is that all is well, and [name removed] is doing well. The care for her is good. She no longer can walk, nor stand. The only continued issue is the care of her clothes. Either it is missing or other clothing from other residents is mixed with her. Other than that, I give The Oaks an A.
