The Oaks at Charleston facility is a nice one, but sometimes the repairs are a little slower. We did run into an issue but they were very accommodating. Based on the experience we have had with the Oaks, we would recommend this community to other families.
All 5's except meals, the only complaint my dad ever has there is sometimes the food is so great, some of the other residents agree. Although they have a new chef so we'll see what happens. I really like that it is a smaller facility, and they have even started a little gardening club since my dad told them how much he likes to garden.
The oaks of Charleston is a one of kind company, the staff are truly amazing, and the care they have for residents there is truly wonderful, words can’t explain how pleased I am with having my mom in they’re memory care unit.

My loved one was previously a resident at Oaks at Charleston and most everything was very good for her! The experience was good. The Oaks was wonderful to us. I would, and have, recommended this facility to others.
I would recommend the facility to others. There is a Bible study and a church, my loved one loves that.

The staff went above and beyond to help us feel welcomed. We were there almost every other day at different times each visit and all the staff was friendly. He was cared for as ... read more

It's a great place for failing memory of your loved one. The staff is great.... failing memory is not a pleasant situation regardless. Great value given this balance.
