Absolutely great service. Reliable and knowledgeable. Trustworthy! Collin offered great service. He was very amicable and knowledgeable about what I needed. I asked for a transmission oil change they asked about my last oil change and didn't insist that I needed one nor tried to upsell. He did say my tire was low and proceeded to fill it. I came here to get my oil changed because a friend recommended them. It was a great experience from start to finish. I love that I could stay in my car the whole time. The first thing thing they did was bring me a cold drink, and asked if I wanted another for the road when it was all finished. Fidel was friendly, honest and respectful and helped me turn off the service reminder light on the dashboard. Thank you for making a dreaded chore pleasant. I'll be back when the dashboard says I'm due for the next oil change!
I didn't like how the employee had to touch my phone to get the free car wash. Like I don't know where your hands have been. YUCK! Then when going in the car wash, the guy spraying down the car ONLY did the left side of car. He completely didn't do the right side. I remember when it was the other company they had 2 people on each side spraying the car down before you go in. Ya'll got to change those 2 things. The car was itself was decent, but because of those 2 things I won't be returning.

Hi Meg, thank you for the feedback. We will talk with our team about handling guests phones, you can always read them the coupon code on your phone and it will be a touchless process. The spray is only supposed to be used on the front and backs of the vehicle, it is bug spray. This place is the home of the upsell and the constant shout. Stopped here after a road trip from Sacramento when our oil light came on, thinking it would be quick and convenient. We've now been here over an hour, no one has started changing any sort of oil but we've been offered about 15 add-ons, pitched under the guise of necessity. Oil stop is 80% annoying, I'd much rather sit in a waiting room where technicians don't constantly offer me absurd services and touch parts of my car I never asked to be checked on.

OK, if you read the negative reviews about the up-selling, that is true, up-selling is part of their business which is understandable. However, if you politely ask the person who checks you in that you "ONLY WANT AN OIL CHANGE and nothing else, please", they will leave you alone about anything else, again, they are doing their jobs, just say no thanks to anything but the oil change. I've had two poor experiences at both Petaluma locations the last two times I've had my oil changed. Previously I've never had any issues with either of them. Today after having my oil changed at the Lakeville location (which I went to because the last poor experience was at the E. Washington location), I ended up with a smoking car on the freeway and then oil leaking from my car at a gas station. I have never had a bad experience at Oil Stop. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and expeditious. Been coming to this location for years now, and hopefully will never have to switch my oil change location. I had a tire with a slow leak at one point, and any time I swung by, they were able to check my tire pressure and refill my tires in 15 minutes or less.
Extremely professional and customer service oriented. Every technician communicated next steps and checked in as each step was completed. Very informative great hospitality, and I strongly recommend this place.
