I have been going to oil stop since I think 2008 when I lived in Humboldt County and have been going here regularly for the last 10 years in Sonoma county at various locations. Recently, I went to oil stop and they removed my cabin air filter to check how it was doing and I had them change it out. When they did that, an acorn fell into my fan blades. The price is low compared to other oil change places. They were able to squeeze me in as a walk-in. I did need to leave my car for a few hours since they are booked. The low rating was due to possible experiences the technician. The tool was dripping for a few days. Upon checking, I found out that the oil pan drain screw was not installed correctly. The tread in the screw and pan are messed up now. There is a regular drip. The screw will not tighten now. I will probably need to go to a shop to change the screw and possibly p... read more
Reasonable prices, they offer a beverage while you wait, and free car wash.. and the wait time wasn't bad at all. I most definitely recommend this place!
Awesome car wash! We were driving by on our way to lunch, saw this new car, and thought we'd try it out. We were very pleased with the service, pricing, and results. Employees are very friendly and helpful. The first employee hands you a price pamphlet, dash wipe, and air freshener. We also saw him hand out dog treats for pets and dum dum suckers for kids. Things are not the same since they got new equipment. The dry roller has often not working and now the machines are bending the rearview mirrors back against the car. This can be a danger if you don't notice it until you get back on the freeway and try to change lanes. I'll give them another few months to get their act together, but if not, I'll start looking for another car wash in Petaluma.

Hey Daniel, thanks for the review, we appreciate the feedback. The Dry N Shine at the end of the tunnel will be replaced soon. We have been working hard to get a replacement for it, but there have been many supply chain issues with this specific piece of equipment. Car mirrors are designed to fold on impact like this, we are sorry for the inconvenience, but pressure has to be applied to clean the mirrors. If there is anything we can do to improve your wash experience please let us know!
Good place they give u soda coffee any drink. Super nice. They are very helpful definitely recommend..
Very impressed with the friendly staff. They were honest and don't pressure you to buy extra products for your car. Free refreshments were provided. They took their time. I like the positive shouts or checks to each other. Highly recommended if you need an oil change. Get there early, so you don't have to wait that long. If you have to wait, you get to chill in your own car.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were very organized and in sync in doing things. They knew what they're doing and recommended some important things that needs to be done on my car. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Customer service is A+.
I went in for an oil change and was very impressed with how professional and efficient all the workers were. They got me in and out in a matter of minutes. I didn't have to step out of my car at any point and the man helping me was very communicative throughout the whole process.
