Fillet and medallions came out burnt, twice! Manager and staff were understanding and apologetic about the food, but if your Fillet is $56 I'd hope you know how to cook it. Charcuterie board is mainly pimento cheese and bologna
Business response:
We're truly sorry to hear about your experience. It's disappointing that the fillet didn't meet your expectations, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We're taking your feedback seriously and will address these issues with our kitchen team. Additionally, we'll review the composition of our charcuterie board to ensure a more diverse and satisfying selection. We value your input and hope to have the opportunity to make it right in the future.
Friendly reception and good server. Decor nice but nothing special. Most expensive and worst food we’ve ever had in a restaurant. Medium steak was charcoal, asparagus was overcooked and limp, and dessert was tasteless. I don’t complain, I just never go back.
Business response:
We are so sorry you didn’t enjoy all of your food on this visit to Oliver’s. I assure you that we only want you to be happy and leave with satisfaction on what you ordered and what you paid for it. We would be happy to recook any steak for you that misses your expectations or augment any dish that doesn’t fit your desires if we can, even down to the preparation of your asparagus. I hope you will let us know on your next visit what we can do to make your visit the best it can be.
Bar service was terrible. Our waitress had no clue about anything-sweet but had to have been brand new. Neither she or the bartender knew brands or how to mix simple cocktails. Won’t go back.
Business response:

Ordered 3 filets for our table. All of them tasted like someone dropped a salt shaker on them. We couldn’t even eat them. They made us new ones and compensated us with a free piece of cheesecake. Was there well over 2 hours
Business response:
We apologize for the disappointing experience with the filets and the extended wait time. Your feedback is valuable, and we appreciate your patience. We're glad we could make amends with new filets and a complimentary cheesecake. Please give us another chance, and we'll strive to provide a much smoother and enjoyable dining experience in the future.
The food, ambience, service were good. It was ALL spoiled when the field mouse appeared! The server and management were alerted. They just said sorry, but it probably came in because we have to open the door for deliveries and it probably got in then!!!!! It was awful! Didn’t sleep well knowing the mouse was one floor away from my bed!
Although there were few people in the restaurant a 6 pm we got the worst seat in the house right at the entry next to hostess station where the waiters bartender and hostesses were loud talking and laughing. The food was flavorless and the add on crab claws for 18.00 were so small that 5.00 for them would have been overpriced. The steak though was tender and cooked as ordered. Shrimp cocktail shrimp were flavorless. The tempora coated bacon strips were cold as they had been cooked long before being served. The kobi beef burg... read more
At first service great, than never saw waitress til time to pay. Half food was cold, no one came by so couldn’t send back. Water cup empty for 20 minutes Ahmad to share with hubby. Nice place , food cold, drinks empty, brought bread basket when half way done with meal. Won’t be back for a long time
I ordered the rim eye and the lobsterfest shrimp cocktail crème brûlée and I was told at 9:44 that the kitchen closes at 10. I’m in the restaurant close that I love him and I had to be done eating by closing time by at least quarter till 11 right white girl Rachel I had to keep telling her to bring me drinks so I want to tell them just keep the safe, I didn’t want to yet because I didn’t think I could eat a 20 ounce ribeye in like 40 minutes and have my business conversation
Was seated at 5:30. Waitress was overwhelmed with two tables total. Took 40 mins to get bottled wine and old fashioned . She was not trained on opening wine table side. Didn’t cut foil so top of bottle looked like a hyena with overbite knaw Ed it off. Food was good quality but served cold Old fashioned was served without Italian black cherry. Manager later owned that because that’s the way they make old fashions there, just like Matt Wynns and North of Bourbon (a garage on Goss Ave). Then mgr being glib and rude says “would ... read more
