Mike Olen came on schedule to evaluate the roof and give an estimate. The crew showed up at the scheduled time. Tom Olen came to go over any last minute findings, and reported on the condition of the rotted parts that needed to be replaced, once the old roof was partially removed. The work was completed in one very long day. Clean-up was thorough. I have only found about a dozen nails around the house. Very little damage to plants around the foundation. Careful, polite crew.

Our roof had been leaking for several months so I called O'Lyn on a Monday and the sales manager, Dan Lunney, came to the house just few hours later. He came back with a quote and product samples a week later. He was very informative, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He patiently educated us about the materials and process of roofing and how the job would unfold. He also explained to us the licensing and insurance that any roofer we were considering should have. About a year and a half ago I hired O'lyn to replace rotted wooden gutters with aluminum ones. They responded quickly with a written quote, providing a large packet of information about the company. The work was performed by a subcontractor, but Mr. O'lyn showed up on the job site several times to check on the work. He felt that certain work wasn t necessary that I thought was necessary. In the end I didn t go with them. The other roofers did exactly what they said they would do. I felt like he treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about because I m a woman. I felt that he was arrogant.
