Awful. I used them for a few years and I totally regret it! They came every month to spray and I was always told that he didn't see any "activity" and that everything looked good. However, I was vacuuming webs daily- so I knew that wasn't true. $100 a month for someone to lie to my face and not take care of the issue. He was in and out. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone.
5/20/25 Talk to Alante and canceled my service. 5/27/25 I used Orkin service in my previous home for many years and was always satisfied. I moved from that house more the 10 tears ago. Last year in late summer or early fall, I started seeing ants in my condo unit. Of course, I called Orkin. I sign up for bi-monthly treatments. horrible horrible not worth it at all. I was charged 270 just for a guy to place 4 mice traps in my home and then I was told that I'd have to pay an additional unknown fee for an inspector to actually stop the mice from coming in!!! this wasn't explained to me prior and when I asked for a refund they gave me the run around for weeks!! i was told that I'd receive $225 back but they only refunded me $40. I would not recommend!!!!! oh and the customer service sucks too
If I could give this company negative stars I would. We have a mouse in our house. We called Orkin to set up pest removal service. We were told over the phone that the technician would come to our home, patch ALL holes on the exterior that could be leading to the mouse entering our home, as well as set traps and lay down chemical to deter the mouse/mice from our home. Having a case of bed bugs is the worst nightmare we experienced. technician Peter was very friendly and oriented re company restpectful . i signed up to do the treatment . he quoted us $$$$ pd $105 initial payment . i did canceled . no schuled made first time called last Dec 29th 2022 no call no show the called up to come out on the 30th and they did. after the inspectioned by the technician no calls or anyone call for scheduling. i want the money back since i canceled within the three busness day. I have been an Orkin Customer with the Alsip Branch #520 since 2012. The Manager there is Jim Montalbano. Yes the customer service has been questionable in the past BUT the customer service and blatant DISRESPECT I EXPERIENCED on 11/29/22 was LIKE NOTHING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE IN MY LIFETIME WITH A BUSINESS.
