I could make this a long drawn out review; however, the long and the short of it is that they don't follow up when they say they are going to and as a result I pay for extra service I didn't need. At the conclusion of my 30 minute call with them, I can only conclude that the entire issue was my fault. At least that is basically what they continued to tell me. I have literally called 5 times in the past week and a half regarding my account. I am so displeased with the service. I ended up catching the mice with Lowes and Home Depot products. The Orkin cardboard sticky pads are a joke. The woman that came out to my house was rude and the services that she provided were not worth the $191.00 that I paid. I originally signed with Orkin in August 2016 for a problem with ants and spiders in my home. The exterminator came out and treated my home with ant bait and glue traps for spiders. In my contract it states that they will come out every other month to treat my home. However if I continue to have problems they will come out in between to give my home an additional service. Well, well, well. I read the reviews first and STILL called them to come and take care of my wasp problem. When I called to schedule the service, I told the person on the phone that the service tech would need a LADDER and explained the problem. So Autumn shows up and low and behold doesn't have a ladder. My husband told her the problem areas and he basically had to lead her around by the hand to show her how to do her job. Then she asks us for a ladder. At first everything seemed fine the staff was courteous and able to schedule an appointment almost immediately. I called on a Saturday and they said the could be out on Monday morning, however then it all fell apart. They no showed for the appointment, blaming a computer error for scheduling it for a Sunday when they don't even operate, instead of Monday. I called Orkin on May 26,2015 in afternoon,I inquired about services for a raccoon problem,the girl said someone would get back to within 24 yrs,well no one called me back,so I called back on May 29th and requested to speak with a supervisor ,I was told one " might " call you back later today,that didn't happen either,it's been 7 days since I called and no one has called me,they advertise they have " pest control down to a science" but what they don't have down is how to be professional and return calls to a potential custom... read more

It ALWAYS pays to read a Yelp review! Orkin did a very poor job of exterminating and baiting my property; poorly filled entry ways, inadequate supplies (using my own materials), improper examination (missed lots of entry points). I don't know if its this specific Orkin, or the company in general, but I would definitely NOT contact this location for service again, nor do I recommend them. I'm still waiting to speak with a supervisor, and have initiated a complaint online...we'll see!

In May of 2014 I contacted Orkin Pest Control for services involving carpenter and other ants, spiders and mice in my home. Because I live in a heavily wooded area, I felt that a professional pest control service was warranted. Our original first date of service was scheduled to be May 24th, I believe, but due to a birth in the family, we had to rescheduled. Had to call again today since their manager decided he didn't want to call me back. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Today it seemed like I might have actually gotten someone decent. Once again said I should see my refund in a couple of days.
