We were traveling on Thanksgiving day and made a reservation at Panevino. It was such a great dinner. We sat outside which was very pleasant. The food was delicious and our waitress was super friendly and fun. When things slowed down later in the evening, she spent time chatting with us which really enjoyed. If I still lived in town, this would definitely be one of my regulars.
Very nice Italian, through and through. The truffle mushroom pizza for $24 was more than worth the money, truly outstanding. Everything we ordered ranged from good to great. Good and prompt service.

Took a work group for dinner during a conference. All the food was very good, and our server Giovanni was outstanding.
This is my second time visiting and eating at this restaurant, even though I live in LA. Absolutely great food, drinks, atmosphere, and friendliness from the staff. Mario the Italian guy from Palermo, Sicily was the real star of our evening. I'm sure the rest of the staff is also extremely good as well! Grazie Mario!
Nice place with good food. In the middle of San Diegos Gaslamp District which is very noisy and full of people drinking too much. Not our scene.
Highlight of my trip. Service was impeccable. Great Italian wine list. The short rib was to die for as well as the carbonara. Will definitely return and highly recommend.
Good but not great. I guess we expected more. This would be a place we would give a second chance. With so many restaurants in San Diego you can find better.
We have been to this restaurant several times and every occasion has hit all the high points of a quality restaurant.
