The whole meal was perfect but the limoncello cake was heavenly. Loved it.
We've been to the restaurant before & the food & the service are always great! There are so many choices in gaslamp but this is definitely one of my go to choices when we're visiting San Diego.
Business colleagues celebration by a group of 16. Beautiful table set up, very prompt, courteous, but the wide range of food to delight all was fantastic. New Years Eve Amazing server great food on a very busy night.
THIS IS INARGUABLY THE FINEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN THE GASLAMP AREA, AND IT IS COMPARABLE TO THE VERY BEST IN LITTLE ITALY. THE STAFF IS MOST ACCOMADATIVE AND FRIENDLY, AND THE FOOD COOKING .SI!!..WOW!!! THIS IS A FIRST CLASS RESTORANTI!!
Four of us went to Osteria Panevino and we all loved our food and the service. Only issue was that the restaurant, on the nigh we went (Christmas Eve), had a few too many tables so it was a bit cramped. But he food was wonderful. We will definitely return.

Great Christmas dinner , great server. However, decaf was lukewarm, after sending it back once with no improvement, my husband gave up....he hardly ever sends anything back. However, we would go back next time we're in town.
What stood out the most about Panevino was authenticity. They Pride themselves on making you feel like you're in Sicily. We started with the fried calamari and shrimp and the eggplant rotini (ricotta cheese) I went with the Italian server's suggestion the signature osso buco which was delicious. After reading my review I challenge you not to take me for my word and try it yourself you'll be delighted.
