These drs are not your average veterinarians, they are specialists. You may pay a bit more, but trust me it is well worth it! They are open 24/7 for emergencies too! RecommendedOur cat, Hope, broke her right front leg. Our Vet X-Rayed the leg and said it required surgery. We were referred to MVES. Dr. Allen and Staff evaluated Hope and found her leg shattered above the elbow and the elbow joint was broken into 3 pieces. Hope was scheduled for surgery the next day. RecommendedWe live 30 minutes from KC and had to drive in on a Sunday morning. They were quick to pick up the phone, after calling 2 other ER vets with no response, and they talked us through our panic as we drove into KC. They were very courteous during our visit, helped us quickly and were very caring. My sister also had an excellent experience with them for her dog too, which is why I knew about them. We are very thankful to have amazing ER vets and wonderful staff.

RecommendedWe originally went to BP. We arrived at 7:00am, and they sent us away, saying all of their doctors were in a staff meeting and that they couldn't get to us until after 9pm. The receptionist gave us the name and address of this emergency vet. The first thing I noticed was a huge parking lot. We walked in and were greeted immediately by someone who actually cared that we were having an emergency situation with our dog. RecommendedI can not say enough great things about them. Our English bulldog wasn’t breathing well and my daughter had to rush him in. They were prompt in taking him back and explained to her (so she could explain to me) every step of the way what was happening. Every staff member was kind from beginning to end and so compassionate with our baby. Prices were very reasonable but care was still top notch. Definitely recommend.

RecommendedWe had to rush our dog to them on a weekend when I thought he would surely die. They took excellent care of him, and 24 hours later we took our tired but healthy dog back home. If you find yourself in the horrible position of needing an emergency vet, this is the place to go. Every single person worked together to put us at ease and give our boy the best possible care. Recommendedvery late on a Friday night our cat had a sudden abscess on his anal gland. we were quoted a long wait time, however once they were able to examine our cat they put a quick and comprehensive plan together as to how to proceed, and quickly went to work. my cat was home and comfortable the next morning following a surgical procedure for a 16 year old cat. we had a question regarding the medication and were promptly called and our questions were answered in a concise manner. everyone who worked at the hospital was very friendly... read more
