Update. the company reached out and am thankful they checked in. All issues cleared up. Still was a hassle to chase after insurance not being linked over. Another update: just received property tax statement that is suppose to be wrapped into my mortgage and it says I'm delinquent! Wow I'm frustrated. One more thing and the company better cover the delinquent fee of 750!

The. Worst. Ever. I have my mortgage with them. I've had mortgages my whole life, and have never had a mortgage company this awful. They arbitrarily decided they would pay my property back taxes. OK fine. I had to scoop up $9k in a hurry to keep them from raising my mortgage. I did that. Then, for whatever reason, they decided I owe them $12k the next month!?! My taxes are current. I have now been in the process of a refinance with Owning for 10 weeks. There seems to be no end in sight. I understand a merger happened but this is ridiculous how long this is taking. Communication with the company seems to be getting worse each day. I would not recommend this company.

Avoid this company like you would COVID 19- strung us along , signed Docs and then was told they had been purchased by Guarantee Rate and would have to redo the paperwork- this dragged on for another 6 weeks so I called Quicken loans and closed in less than 4 weeks. Now I hear their advertisements again as Owning Corporation? Sounds fishy - use a real mortgage company and save yourself the BS.

Owning mortgage has been the worst experience for a simple Refi. I started my refi to a lower rate in December 2020 and it has over 3 month and my loan has not funded! I went with Owning because my co-worker said his was less than 30 days. I signed my loan docs on 1/8/2021and my loan has not funded yet. I understand the company merged with Guarantee Rate but it has been over 100 days. The excuse of a backlog was understandable for a short delay but not 2 going on 3 months.

It's a scam. Complete and utter disconnect between loan officer and processor. 0 communication, 0 effort to get things done. Inquired in September and my family still haven't closed. Where are the managers? You guys ok with late loans? They requested docs and reran credit 3 times since application in October. You do the math on how long it's taken them..

Our refinance experience with Owning was extremely disappointing & stressful. Justin H. and Linda N. did not deliver for us. We signed documents January 16, 2021 and it never got funded. Their excuse was that there was a merge with Guaranteed Rate and we had to start our loan process again. We had asked to talk to the manager twice and gave us the excuse that their manager was too busy with training to talk to us. Update: We started the process over again, this time with Guaranteed Rate - same staff - around Feb 15th and just closed a few days ago. Haven't made a payment yet so let's see how that goes... Process wasn't as quick as the first time with Owning. When we started the process again, I had questions and felt the (same) loan officer was very condescending with his responses, so I said F it and just went along.
