It took us 1.5 hour to tour. We arrived by bike and they had no bike racks. We locked our bikes to a metal fence. We waited ten minutes in line to buy tickets. No one checked the ticket once we entered past the ticket stand. Once in the zoo you will see different regions to visit. Each region loops around. You can't get lost in this zoo! It is much smaller than Miami and doesn't have all the Safari type animals. There are many birds at this zoo. There is a sit down restaurant or quick service food places. Parking is free ... read more

I've been coming here for 25 years it's a great zoo for all ages and inexpensive compared to other zoo's in the state. Needed some exhibit landscaping clean up but the animals all looked well cared for and healthy . I'd love some little steps for small kids to be able to see exhibits over the fences but it's a great experience for all !

We loved our visit to Palm Beach Zoo with our grandchildren. Smaller zoo with animals up close. The habitat activities (ie Tiger training, Flamingo parade) were great. We belong to the Cleveland zoo, have visited the Toronto zoo and many others but this zoo was so easy to navigate, the animals were right there, and the habitats were natural (ie the monkeys were swinging from tree to tree 20 ft away). I highly recommend.

I love this zoo. There's free available parking outside the zoo. They have their own private lot. It's my first time here and my daughter and I enjoyed our visit here. There are a few exhibits that are temporarily closed but will be opening in the near future. The food at the cafe was quick and fresh. Their menu carries basic dishes that you can't possibly mess up. Their menu varies from chicken fingers to cheeseburgers to salads. It's perfect for families with children. Lastly, the staff was nice and respectful.

I love this zoo. My granddaughter is now 14, we have been bringing her here since she was a baby. When she visits Florida she loves to visit the zoo. I love how some of these animals are rescued and they take in animals not wanted.

My 2 year old loves going to see the animals. They recently remodeled and are expanding. I have found it to be one of the most family friendly and clean zoos. The animals look content and well cared for, doesn't smell bad, all areas are clean, large water pad for little kids, lots of shaded areas on those hot days. First time we visited I decided to purchase an annual membership after- they are super friendly and credited our entrance fee towards the membership. If you plan to go more than twice for a family with 2 adults, i... read more

Not bad! The lay out is amazing. We went earlier in the day and many of the animals weren't out. The show where the workers and volunteers spoke of different animals was fun. My little niece had tons of fun in the fountain!! However, some of the stones were a little wobbly and kinds of concerning. The food at the restaurant was okay, the burgers were dry but everything else was amazing. A little overpriced though. And the decor was awesome! Very hot, of course being south Florida. The only concern I had was iguanas. They we... read more

I just love this zoo. The layout is great, the habitats are well done and there is plenty of shade everywhere. It has a great array of animals, but not some of the Giants, which is okay by me. I bought the annual pass to leisurely take my kids during the week and not feel rushed. The spray fountain is our last stop before we load up. Looking forward to the themed Safari Nights!
