How this facility handled Covid-19 has been what is most impressive to me. Although with visitor restrictions it was difficult not to see my loved one face to face, I appreciated that they were taking the pandemic seriously and putting patients health and safety first. The staff were very accommodating and made every effort to place my loved one in a room with a window where we could visit outside and even receive updates from nursing/therapy. Had a great experience with the facility even though with the Covid they have been very accommodating with everything that we requested, even though we just saw our mom by the window. The staff is very accommodating and very professional and mom is so happy with the service that they have given. I highly recommend this facility for your loves to get rehab.

I visit these places as part of my job and this is one of the best skilled nursing facility in San Mateo County. Known for their cleanliness and awesome, compassionate staff members, especially Charissa who I worked with for many years when she was working in another facility!

I have been working for PPA for about three weeks now and I am so happy that I found a new place to call home. Everyone has been so welcoming. It feels great to come to a place where everyone greets you and you can tell that the employees actually care about the patients. My Aunt just got released from staying here after a hip surgery. All around the care she received was excellent. From the PT department, nursing, social services and especially the food. My Aunt has always been active and follows a healthy, fresh diet . The food here she said was outstanding. My uncle was admitted to peninsula post acute for post hip surgery. From the moment he was admitted to discharge, he was cared and loved by everyone! Therapists here at Peninsula Post Acute know what they are doing! My uncle had a quick recovery than we all expected and I believe it was because of therapists who encouraged my uncle. I have had the privileged of working with the PPA team both on a personal level and professional level. Each team member I have worked with has gone above and beyond to make sure their patients are taken care of both during their rehab stay and preparing for discharge. Peninsula Post-Acute is an excellent rehab facility. Their team is warm, knowledgable, and responsive to family's needs. I have been privileged to work with many members of their team, including Kim, Raey, and Cello-- all excellent professionals that take their patients' lives and needs seriously. Peninsula Post-Acute is a great place for rehabilitation. My 87 year old father was admitted the day we sheltered in place, so we could not visit. The wonderful admissions team, especially Chello, our angel, took care of Dad and us like we were family. She gave Dad a bed by a window so we could visit and see him at his window. Everyone at PPA was super friendly and helpful from start to finish. PT, OT, Nursing staff, Speech, and case managers were all so patient, caring and kind to my Dad and our family.
