The loan officer was largely unavailable, did not explain the process or tell me how it all worked, lost documents, provided inaccurate documents, failed to set up a closing date (we closed months later). It was a terrible experience and I was shocked at the lack of quality customer service from such a large organization.

The survey of marking it "OK" was because we went through the process twice, the second was expedited and went smoothly. The first time, we submitted all the documents, and then were rejected, because something was missing, and that was not communicated, and then no one told us why were rejected. After talking to someone, we were able to get a new application started, with the same documentation. So it ended up going smoothly in the end but it took twice as long than expected.

Unclear communication from the initial application to closing. I wasn’t all that concerned for a refinancing, but this would have been frustrating for an initial mortgage.
