The third party vendor you use for the closings was not very professional and in our opinion not great to work with! We ran into more issues than one with them. For PennyMac itself, some individuals just don't return calls, which left us to reach out to many different departments before a question or issue could of gotten resolved!
My only suggestion would be to have a direct way to contact a specific loan processor. If I replied to emails from Ms. Herrmann I would often get responses from someone else on the team that may not be as familiar with our file. Aside from that minor suggestion, the process was great!
I had no real knowledge of the refi process. The Pennymac team guided me through the process cleanly and with a minimum of difficulty, truthfully the difficulty was of my own making. Everything went smoothly than I expected and I'm very impressed with this particular team. Hat's off to them, I'd recommend them to anyone.
