My only issues were with requests from underwriting. The document requests were redundant and delayed the closing.

There was a big confusion around the property type: Townhouse or Condo. Everything till the closure was with the understanding that it is townhouse and loan was structured accordingly. Later I was told that it is a condo and pricing will be different and I was charged additional $2300 as points to cover the additional which made me very disappointed.

The service provided to me by Pennymac and especially by the Rep Nathaniel Orozco was impeccable… I don’t think I have ever had a company Rep as sharp, polite and professional as Mr. Orozco. In fact, the entire process was smooth with some very minor issues , but I was surprised at the manner in which my refinance was handled, the staff was organized, knowledgeable and professional! For me that places Pennymac a cut above all other lenders. Their service can’t be touched 🤷🏽‍♀️
