We had our current loan with Penny Mac and a second home with another lender. In the 10 years we had with Pwnny Mac we never had a problem with communications, paperwork, tax filings or knowing where we stood on our loan repayment. We had issues with our second home loan within 6 months of taking it. When we decided to refinance our home, we looked everywhere but just felt like it was a money grab for fees. My LO failed in asserting my proper W2 income to underwriting. W2 was $160,000 in 2020. In 2021 as of Dec. 1, employee paystub already showed $160,000 earned. Yet, because I also own 2 other companies of which i was not an employee, he reduced my W2 income to $5,700 monthly $68,400 - LESS than half my W2 income. The only issue that I had was PennyMac was calling for payment before funding. Also the Title co was underfunded $25 that I am taking care of now.
