Cheree was amazing. I am so lucky to have been able to work with her. She sent a updated every week. Replied to voicemail in less than 15 minutes. She was very patience and understanding with explaining the process and really making sure I understood everything. She made me feel special and just another applicant. Thank you!!
I understand the current situation on COVID that too with multiple applications that are getting processed. Since multiple teams are involved right from application creation, processing, closing etc, there were delays in communication and also getting clarification was also delayed much.
The whole process was easy and straight forward.
We were blown away by our experience with Penny Mac. This started with Garrett Greene, who was so responsive and patient. I have been through this process many time, but never as smoothly and with as much personal attention. The pass off to Sumayyah Wiggins was smooth and provide an equal level of friendly and highly competent service. I am not just a little pleased, I can not say enough about everyone I worked with.
The refinance process took longer than expected. When we finally were able to make and confirm an appointment to sign the closing disclosures, it was cancelled the day before. It isn’t easy for my husband to request a day off. It was such an inconvenience. We were given a credit back, but it’s just difficult to see past this issue.
Started the refinance process early June. Finished the closing at the end of October. The closing out of pocket expenses changed several time up until the day before the closing. Even though I have made several mortgage payments since the start of refinancing, I have ended up paying more for the closing cost than the beginning. Awful communication through out the process. No transparency. Excuses were given due to Cov-19, I want PennyMac to know I have been working Mask up, Social distancing.
Quick and painless. Got a better rate and took hardly any time.
