Each representative that assisted me with my loan we’re very professional, caring and attentive. I never had to wonder what was going on with my loan as I received updates regularly and I really appreciated that. Truly happy with Penny Mac and looking forward to continued great service.

There were many proms with the closing documents. It took me many calls to have it fixed. We were asked to supply multiple bank statements, insuring we had the money for closing costs to then having the amount just rolled into our mortgage. Was not happy about that

Some of the closing information was not provided by Pennymac. I had to get some of the important information from the actual closer in order to be able to close on time. Should have been provided by Pennymac representative.

The PennyMac team worked effortlessly with me. They communicated with me very well. They kept me informed of where my loan was at during the process. When I emailed, I would get a response or a call within 24 hrs. The uploading of the documents was easy as well.

Speaking with the first representative was a pleasure. Once my information was handed off to the next person communication seemed to drop off some. Something else that was not pleasant was this. When PennyMac discusses escrow monies a thing to consider is when the due date is and how much a persons insurance payment is. That deducts from the amount you get if any. I thought I was getting one thing and received another. That could have been bought up, discussed and made clear.

So fast to refi our loan. Seriously. I called on Oct. 1. Three weeks later our new loan was funded. Great rate and we’ll save so much over the life of the loan.

Organization of the office could be better. Some things were overlooked and should not have been. A holiday should not cause delay in closing. The holiday should have been already planned in the process. Informing us two days prior to closing of delay shows lack in organization.

Had to micro manage whole process to make closing. LEs were consistently inaccurate or flat out wrong.
