overall quick and great service
An overall good experience from start to finish. They made the refinancing process as seamless as possible.
I emailed the customer support email I was given and no one responded. I left a voicemail to a number I was given in an email. And no one called me back.
It all went well, except that it took a lot longer than expected. Process began with Application submission on 7/28/20 and closing was on 10/15/20. Not that big of a deal for me as I was simply waiting on the process.
After signing closing documents...I had lingering questions and left 4 msgs with my assigned processing officer with no call back. In addition, left a msg with the supervisor and again no call back. In the end, my questions were answered through several communication attempts with customer service. I also understand with rate being this low they are all busy.
The whole process went smooth and fast. It was great talking to knowledgeable people instead of a dumb computer. That is one of the many reasons I used Pennymac for my last three mortgages.

I am a formal Real Estate Broker in Texas since 1978 also mortgage broker.My experience with PennyMAC was fantastic everyone I talk to . Mr Jason Stevens gave a very good explanation about the closing cost estimate that was perfect Mr Eliud Rodriguez l can tell you... he is fantastic processor, very Profecional all the answers was by the book, very accurate in the information that given. (I wish l had dedicated Profecional in my comp) I had good experience w/Mr Jason & Mr Eliud also Choi.
