When you are told that you will be communicated with every Friday and you do not have that communication until the next week when I send an email requesting the information. Funds disbursement 2 days later than email stated and still no disbursement or communication. Understand COVID, but under promise and overachieve is much better than over promise and under achieve.

We had to go through the refinance twice it ended up taking 3 months. We were quoted a rate and for some reason the refinance was accidentally closed. The closing cost were then doubled after it was resubmitted. The loan agent said he would fix this but later informed us after a month that his manager wouldn’t allow the fix. When I asked to cancel the refinance it was fixed within a day. I’m happy with the result but the time, constant calling, and pushback required was frustrating.

It would have been nice if someone had called to tell us our loan did not close as stated. It would have been good if the original agreement had been kept. It would have been terrific if they had sent the documents to be signed on time.

Francesca did a great job considering she took over a dumpster fire that was created by Mr tusk from the beginning . My wife and I do not blame her in any fashion for the unpleasant experience we had with this process. We chose PennyMac because I have a family member that has a couple of mortgages with Penny Mac and spoke highly of you. However from our experience I would not recommend anyone to PennyMac.
